While in the capital city, you will explore highlights such as the Old Town (a UNESCO World Heritage Site, coveing the Castle Square, St John’s Cathedral, the Old Town Market Square and the Barbican), Lazienki Park with the Royal Palace on the Water and Fryderyk Chopin Monument, the Royal Route and also the former wartime Jewish Ghetto (the Umschlag Platz, the Monument of Ghetto Heroes). You will also view Warsaw from the new suspension bridge over the Vistula River, pass through the formerly notorious eastern district of Warsaw, and visit the diplomats’ street of Aleje Ujazdowskie and the Houses of Parliament.
